Hello, I’m Anne—founder of Journeys by Anne and your dedicated travel advisor. I believe travel is more than just a destination—it’s a feeling, a story, and a reflection of your spirit.

My love for travel began early, planning family adventures to Hawaii, Disneyland, and Washington, D.C. I discovered that I enjoyed the planning process just as much as the journeys themselves, and that joy has stayed with me ever since.

In 1991, I embarked on my first cruise with my best friend and was instantly captivated. That experience led me to intern at a cruise-only travel agency, and eventually open my own agency in rural Virginia—an area that lacked personalized travel planning. I built a thriving business, mentored new advisors, and cultivated lasting relationships with cruise suppliers and industry partners.

With a background in psychology and counseling, I understand that travel stirs a range of emotions: excitement, anticipation, and sometimes even anxiety. I take the time to listen, guide, and support my clients from our first conversation to their safe return home.

I’ve had the privilege of working with top-tier clients, generating multimillion-dollar sales, and training new advisors along the way. I’m also proud to hold the designation of Master Cruise Counselor through CLIA.
